Microchip identification

The electronic identification of dogs by microchip, besides being mandatory by law for animals born after July 2008, is extremely important for the safety of the animal.
In case the dog runs away or gets lost it allows anyone who finds it to take it to the Veterinarian and return it to the owner. In addition to this fact, by law, the microchip is a proof of ownership. If the animal does not have a microchip and if it is stolen or found without a microchip, it may have problems retrieving it.

In addition, the microchip will always be needed to register with the parish council and administer the rabies vaccine, which is also mandatory by law.

The microchip is a small electronic device the size of a grain of rice that is placed on the left side of the neck, which has a unique bar code and is associated with your data and the owner in a national database.
